Where is 2018 going?!
Pushing the limits of a bi-annual update, but better late than never. The year is flying by and here at Will Hire we have been busy adding and improving our comprehensive plant tool and access hire fleet. Here’s a little round up of what we’ve been up to since our last website story. The best place for up to date info, news, and the occasional competition is our Facebook page, just search for Will Hire Ltd on Facebook and give us a follow.
Early in the year we had a long overdue re-fresh of our printed literature to include our Safe Hire accreditation and Staff restructuring. We still support customer’s needs for snail mail for info and invoicing on accounts, and will do for the foreseeable future.
Our Plant hire fleet has seen plenty of new arrivals with another Bobcat E25 3ton digger, two E17 1.5ton diggers expanding our excavator fleet, and another 1ton high lift dumper heading through the door too, with the new dumper looking great under the new Mecalac branding. We also took delivery of another Prodem digger breaker to help meet demand, if you can’t bost it up with one of these you’re in trouble.
We have had a vast range of new tools enter the hire fleet too. It’s often difficult to point a camera at them before there on their way to our lucky customers but we have managed to snap a few over the last couple of months. With a mixture of items increasing the fleet and replacing older machines, as well as investing in some out of the ordinary items we’re always working hard to have the best possible equipment ready for hire. Sadly due to the pace it was going out of the door we didn’t manage to snap the large amounts of aluminium tower we have purchase. Summer holidays are always a busy time for our Boss ladder span towers so we have significantly increased our stocks to help meet demand.
It’s not only the hire fleet we try and keep fresh, the work horses need some love too. We finally got our motorsport inspired livery sorted on one of our crew cab pick-ups, and we also renewed our entire fleet of plant trailers. Although they are part of the hire fleet, our plant trailers spend the vast majority of their time delivering our machines to customers so they are vitally important to maintaining our swift and efficient delivery service.
Lastly, we are now “As seen on T.V”! One of our Bobcat E25 diggers managed to sneak on to the BBC’s Ambulance series. But please don’t worry, it’s half a second of fame has not affect its hire rate.
That’s all for now, massive thanks for reading, we’ll be back with another update in a few months. Cheers, Will.
